Hi there, It's Kelly from Room to Grow, and before joining my sisters in the organizing business, I trained as a nutritionist. One of the things I love about organizing is that it goes hand-in-hand with healthy eating. When your kitchen is neat and well-organized, it's easier to cook at home and make healthy meals for yourself and your family. That's why I'm excited to share some tips for meal prep and innovative food storage.

First things first, a tidy kitchen and pantry is key to making meal prep a breeze. When you can easily see what ingredients you have on hand, it's easier to plan meals for the week ahead. That's where Room to Grow can help - we can transform your kitchen and pantry into a functional space that makes meal prep a pleasure.

Once you have an organized space, the next step is to create a meal plan for the week ahead. You don't have to be a nutritionist to do this - simply choose some of your favorite healthy recipes and make a shopping list of the ingredients you'll need. At Room to Grow, we love using shared shopping lists like Bring, Cozi or AnyList to make meal planning even easier.

Finally, let's talk about innovative food storage. There are so many great products on the market these days that can make meal prep and storage a breeze. For example, I love using glass containers with snap-on lids to store leftovers or prepped ingredients in the fridge. And if you're short on space, consider using a hanging fruit basket or a vertical spice rack to maximize your storage.

By taking these simple steps - tidying up your kitchen, creating a meal plan, and using innovative storage solutions - you can make healthy eating a breeze. And when you need a little extra help getting your kitchen in tip-top shape, remember that Room to Grow is here for you.
