A Pantry That Feeds You
Kelly, our in-house nutritionist, on organizing the pantry so weeknight cooking (and snacking) get easier.

Hey everyone, it’s Kelly!
Before I joined my sisters in the organizing business, I trained as a nutritionist. I still look at pantries the way I look at meal plans: if the good stuff is hard to reach, you will not eat it.
Zones over pretty jars
Pretty jars are lovely. Zones are what change your week. Breakfast, snacks, baking, dinner staples, oils. Clear bins beat a wall of matching canisters you never refill.
Put nutrition at eye level
Nuts, oats, fruit cups, the crackers you actually want the kids to grab — those belong where hands land first. Treats can live a shelf higher. You are not banning joy. You are making the default a little kinder.
A Sunday fifteen
Once a week, face the labels, toss the stale, and write what you are actually out of. Fifteen minutes. That is the whole maintenance plan.
If your pantry currently requires a spelunking helmet, I would love to set it up with you. We can even do it before back-to-school hits.
